Middle and Senior School

Middle School is an intermediate level program formalizing earlier studies and preparing students to enter senior levels, the last step before University or College. Middle School builds on the level of autonomy developed at the Primary level to ensure good learning strategies. Students will practice study skills, research techniques, teamwork, report writing and confidence in facing International Examinations.

Students are assisted to meet demands, expectations, academic and social challenges; we support students through a tutoring program available from Middle level 1 to Senior level 3, a School Psychologist, vocational and educational Counselling, group workshops, career days and visits to working place to meet professionals. Students continue areas of study began in junior school, while adding further studies in Humanities. Students gain greater fluency in written and oral skills in their second language through workshops and Interschool and National competitions of ESSARP, the St Andrew’s Society Creative Writing Competition and a School Concert. Skills in the second foreign language, French, is also evaluated by the Alliance Francaise through examination (DELF).
