Students can access a variety of internationally recognized examinations beginning at junior level until graduation.
We use the Cambridge University Examinations. In junior level 2, students sit for series of ESOL Examinations for Young Learners at three levels: Starters, Movers and Flyers.
At Junior level 6 students sit for KET, PET and FCE examinations. In Middle school level 3, they begin with the IGCSE Examinations (the International General Certificate of Secondary Education). They have the option of sitting these examinations as separate subjects or take the I.C.E. (the International Certificate of Education) that includes seven subjects.
From Senior level 2, students begin to prepare for the A.I.C.E. (Advanced International Certificate of Education) and students can take up to 6 credits. These examinations meet the requirements for entry to Cambridge University and many private universities.
In Middle School level 1, students begin another foreign language, French, and take the DELF with the Alliance Francaise to obtain an international certificate.
All students who complete their secondary education at Sworn College sit the externally evaluated examinations of the Department of International Examinations of the University of Cambridge (CIE). In their last three years, we prepare students for these examinations. We also ensure students are ready for university life and for the entry to the work experiences. Every student in his or her final school year must undertake a research project under the supervision of an academic advisor and on a subject of significance to the student.
