Drama is another creative activity that is very important at the school. It is part of the curriculum from kindergarten to the senior years and also includes the alumni who perform a major production each year.

 

Drama provides practice in oral fluency and presentation skills. This begins in kindergarten where the tiniest students show their honesty and enthusiasm as they present their annual show. The moral messages of traditional English Nursery Rhymes form the script.

 

Primary pupils offer an annual musical entirely in English. Secondary students produce two annual plays: one in English and the other in Spanish. They choose from both classical and modern authors and are the actors, build the scenery, select the wardrobe, arrange the music and the sound, do the make-up etc. The group demonstrates their commitment, enthusiasm and collaboration to create a dynamic and creative performance.
